Chief Minister sanctioned ex-gratia of Rs. 3,500 to 105 persons each from CM Discretionary Fund.

Pithoragarh, May 02:
Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna said that the state government's effort was to bring the people of remote areas in the main stream of development in the state. He said that the government was committed to implement the development projects of Central Government and the state government on grass root level. He asserted that all has to work united by utilizing the available resources to take the state to new horizon of prosperity.
Chief Minister was addressing the public during Janta Milan at PWD Inspection Bungalow on Wednesday. Mr. Bahuguna said that the government's intention was to ensure that every person benefited out of development projects. Revealing that the financial status of the state was not that good, he said still the government was putting special efforts to increase the revenue and bring stability. He said that the people could project their problems through telephone, email or post to him.
Chief Minister Bahuguna lent a patient hearing to the problems of the local people and issued necessary instruction to the District Magistrate to resolve their problems. Chief Minister also sanctioned ex-gratia of Rs. 3,500 to 105 persons each from CM Discretionary Fund and instructed the DM to do the needful. The people projected before him the problems relating to roads, water, power, education, residence, financial assistance and employment. The public representatives demanded implementation of various development projects and fund for construction of residential areas for Nagar Palika workers.
Irrigation Minister Yashpal Arya said that the government was implementing development projects in a systematic manner for the overall development of the state. He said that state had lots of problems and the government was committed to resolve them. Also present on the occasion were State Youth Congress President Anand Rawat, MLAs Mayukh Mehar, Narayanram Arya, Harish Dhami, party office bearers Mahendra Lunthi, Pushpa Deopa, DIG GS Martolia and District Magistrate CMS Bisht.
