A total number of 10 requests have been received by the Land & Development Office of Union Ministry of Urban Development for allotment of land for opening of Safal vegetable booths in Delhi/New Delhi.
These requests have been sent by the authorities of Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt Ltd during 1st January 2010 to 30th November, 2013.
This information was given by Mrs Deepa Dasmunshi, Minister of State in the Ministry of Urban Development.
Requests have been received for allotment of land for opening of Safal vegetable booths in Sarojini Nagar- K Block, Golf Links, Malcha Marg, Maulana Azad Rd, Tees January Marg among others.
As per policy, after receipt of request from the Mother Dairy for allotment of land for opening of Safal Vegetable Booth in Delhi/New Delhi, the availability of land is ascertained. If the land is available in the locality/colony where allotment is sought, the request of allotment is further examined in consultation with CPWD.
If CPWD recommends allotment, the case is placed before the Land Allotment Screening Committee (LASC) for its recommendation. Based on the recommendation of LASC, the allotment of land is decided.
